Background of the ideology of Pakistan
It is an
indisputable historical fact that Pakistan is an ideological state. The great
and lofty purpose and ideology of its establishment also justifies its
permanence and survival. That is the great ideology, the religion of Islam. The
same religion of truth that Muhammad (peace be upon him) brought with him. It
speaks of human rights, dignity, equality, equality, honesty, truthfulness and
the welfare of humanity.
The ideology
of Pakistan is in fact the Nizam-e-Mustafa (peace be upon him) which pays the
most attention to the rights of humanity. Who is humane, humane and humane. The
basis of which is "La ilaha illa Allah Muhammad Rasool Allah". This
is the Kalima Tayyaba, the confession and proclamation of which causes a
revolution in the outward and inward human being. Along with the confession of
the oneness of God, there is also the denial of all false and cruel laws and
inhuman systems.
With the
East India Company gaining power day by day in the Indian subcontinent, Muslims
became morally and economically weak. Sultans such as Tipu Sultan and Nawab
Siraj al-Dawla continued their efforts to maintain Islamic identity in the
Deccan and Bengal, but as soon as the lights of their lives went out, Muslims
were enslaved. The steps taken by the British from the time of Aurangzeb
Alamgir in the form of East India Company in the Indian subcontinent were
finally successful and they took advantage of the internal turmoil and economic
misery of the Muslims to amass wealth here. He also took over the politics and
government of India.
Muslims died
politically, but the Islamic identity that was reflected in Muslim culture
never disappeared. The role of these Sufis in maintaining this Islamic identity
is to go beyond politics and government to convey the message of Allah and His
Messenger to the people and to change the world of the hearts of the people
from village to village, city to city. And continue to include them in the
great community of the Nation of Islam. The Sufis, with their good morals,
love, compassion, humility, humility and self-sacrifice, broke the pride of
race and color and promoted the spirit of brotherhood and love and brought
people into the fold of Islam. Stay This same spirit strengthened the ideology
of Pakistan.
The perfect mentor Hazrat Abul Hassan Ali bin Usman Hajwary
belongs to every first group of such great Sufis who have played an important
role in laying the foundation of the Kingdom of Pakistan. According to Allama
Dr Muhammad Iqbal, he sowed the seeds of the tree of Islam in the land of
India.
Sayyid Hajwr achieved success in the path of preaching Islam by following the example
of the Prophet (sws). Along with preaching the religion in Lahore and Punjab,
he also guided the ideology of Pakistan.
Along with
Syed Hajwir, other Sufis continued to perform the same duty. Then Hazrat
Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri visited the Indian subcontinent and sat on the
land of Ajmer and converted millions of people to Islam. Then the Imam of
Ahl-e-Chisht in Punjab, Hazrat Baba Farid-ud-Din Ganj Shakar Pakpattan Sharif,
who was once called "Ajudhan", came and conveyed the message of
religion.
Thus, there
is a long list of names of Sufis who came to this region to spread the message
of Islam. Eventually, when the people of the Indian subcontinent went home to
English slavery, the same ideology came to fruition, which gradually took the
form of a movement, and then the features of Pakistan began to become clear.
During the
period of slavery, various Muslim leaders continued to highlight the special
Islamic identity of Muslims and draw attention to the fact that Muslims are a
special nation, whose political, economic, social and moral system is not
designed by any human being but by Allah Almighty. And its Messenger (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him) is mentioned. When the idea of a separate
homeland began to flourish among the Muslims, the slogan of "Hindu-Muslim
Bhai Bhai" was raised in the name of united nationhood. When the Hindus
cast this net, many Muslim leaders also fell victim to this conspiracy and
declared geography as the basis of Hindu-Muslim unity and said that since our
land is one, language is one, color is one, so we Hindus and Muslims are one.
Are
This slogan
of nationalism was rejected by Hazrat Allama Iqbal with very strong arguments
and he continued to propagate only Islamic nationalism. The concept of Muslim
India given by Allama Iqbal was later called the concept of Pakistan or the
ideology of Pakistan.
Presiding over the meeting of the Muslim League, shortly before
his demise, Hazrat Allama Muhammad Iqbal said:
"Hindus
and Muslims are two separate nations, they have nothing in common. I want to
make it clear that the solution to India's political dilemma is nothing but
that each party has its own specific national and cultural bases. But we should
have the right to an independent council. ”
Allama Iqbal
in his sermon Allahabad 1930 and other sermons made it very clear that
"Muslims" is the name of a nation, they need a separate homeland and
then also pointed out these areas. Where a Muslim-majority area can become an
independent Islamic state.
Allama Iqbal in his sermon Allahabad 1930 said:
"It
seems to me that otherwise the Muslims of northwestern India will eventually
have to establish an Islamic state. If we want Islam to survive as a cultural
force in this country, it must establish its centrality in a specific area. I
only demand the establishment of an organized Islamic state in India for the
welfare of Islam. ”
Even in the
light of Quaid-e-Azam's instructions, the outline of an independent Islamic
state based on the concept of a separate nation and two national ideologies is
also clear.
At the historic meeting of the Muslim League in Lahore on March
23, 1940, in which the Lahore resolution was passed, Quaid-i-Azam said:
"Islam
and Hindu Dharma are not just religions but in fact two different social
systems. Therefore, this wish should be called a dream that Hindus and Muslims
will be able to create a common nation together. These people do not marry each
other, nor do they eat at a table. I say bluntly that they belong to two
different civilizations and that these civilizations are based on ideas and
realities that are contradictory and contradictory to each other. ”
Thus, addressing the students on March 19, 1944, Quaid-i-Azam
said:
"Islam
is our guide and is the complete code of our life in which we do not need a red
or yellow flag nor do we need socialism, communism, nationalism or any other
ism."
Quaid-i-Azam
portrayed the sentiments and ideologies of the scholars, great leaders and
Muslims of the Indian subcontinent, the father of the nation, the founder of
the Islamic state he dreamed of and the Islamic state he succeeded in
establishing. Pakistan's instructions are part of history.
Once Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru in his speech satirized Quaid-e-Azam
and said:
"In
today's scientific age, when religion has failed to solve human problems, a
political intellectual of India is demanding the creation of a separate state
in the name of religion."
Quaid-i-Azam immediately replied:
"Pandit
Nehru was right because everyone knows the truth about themselves. Their
religion may have failed, but not in our case. Rather, Islam meets all modern
requirements and is capable of surviving in every age." Is''.
Constitution of Pakistan
Quaid-e-Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who led the Muslim nation day and night, enduring mental,
physical and mental hardships, fought a fierce battle against the two most
organized nations of the world and succeeded in gaining a free homeland for his
slave nation Long before its inception, Quaid-i-Azam announced in no uncertain
terms about its constitution:
"When
you talk about democracy, I doubt you have studied Islam. We learned democracy
thirteen hundred years ago. ”
Thus, in his
message on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi on January 25, 1948, he said:
"Who
says the constitution of Pakistan will not be based on Sharia?" Those who
say so are corrupt. In our lives, Islamic principles are followed in the same
way as they were thirteen hundred years ago. Islam has shown the way to
democracy, taught equality and justice. Therefore, by following the Islamic
principles, we will be able to do justice to everyone. ”
Addressing
the gathering in Peshawar in January 1948, Quaid-i-Azam said:
"We did
not demand Pakistan just to get a separate piece of land, but we wanted to get
a laboratory where we could test the principles of Islam. The distinction
between the concept of Islamic government and the concept of obedience should
be borne in mind that the source of obedience and fidelity to it is God
Almighty, the practical means of which is the rules and principles of the
Qur'an. Only the rules of the Holy Qur'an can determine the limits of our
freedom and restraint in the state and society. In other words, the Islamic
government is a government of Qur'anic principles and rules.
Quaid-i-Azam
addressed the inaugural session of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan, which
included the swearing-in and the transfer of power from the outgoing British
Viceroy, Lord Mountbatten. Quaid-i-Azam said in clear and unequivocal words:
"The
first duty of the government is to maintain order so that the lives, property,
honor and religious beliefs of the people are protected. The major curses that
are currently in place include bribery and dishonesty, we have to break their
steel claws. Thieves and profiteers are curses that cause great distress to the
people. You also have to fight this monster. This is a social crime, and those
who steal must be punished severely. What hurts my soul the most is corruption,
dishonesty and bribery. I can't tolerate any kind of bribery and corruption.
"
When
Quaid-e-Azam visited East Pakistan in March 1948, he also addressed several
gatherings of military and civilian officers and addressed the employees of the
state at every opportunity to inculcate the spirit of honesty and service to
his people. This is because his insight was telling him that it is very
important to control the employees of the state and bring them on the right
path so that the administration is free from the germs of corruption and
incompetence and the abolition of slavery, bureaucracy Let the unjust traditions
of the masters, ie their terror on the people, etc., come to an end.
Unity,
faith, organization
From joining
politics to the last breath of his life, Quaid-e-Azam kept talking about unity.
Even after the formation of Pakistan, you always insisted on unity.
Addressing
the students of Islamia College on April 12, 1948, he said:
"Don't
forget that we are building a state that is destined to be the destiny of the
whole Islamic world, so our vision should be wide. It is so broad that it
transcends provincial boundaries, limited nationalism and racial prejudice and
unity is its central point. ”
In his Eid
message to the nation on August 17, 1948, he said:
"I hope
that this united nation of 70 million people, with its determination and
perseverance and a history of great civilization, will continue its work and
succeed." We must remember this statement of ours ... Unity, faith and
organization.
Quaid-e-Azam
wanted to see his army strong and stable. In December 1947, he addressed the
officers of the Pakistan Navy, Air Force and Air Force in Karachi:
"God
has given us this golden opportunity to prove that we really have the ability
to be the architects of a new state. For God's sake! Let people not say that we
were not able to carry this burden. Come on! Let us be determined to build and
develop Pakistan, make it a great nation that is livable for our future
generations. This wonderful goal requires ... Work, work and just work. "
In the light
of these instructions of Quaid-e-Azam, the ideology of Pakistan is explained in
such a way that the ideology of Pakistan consists of the following points:
The basis of
Islamic identity and nationality
The idea of
separate civilizations
Two nation theory
The rule of
Quranic principles and rules
Disgust with
non-Islamic systems
Democracy
Equality and
economic justice
National
unity and solidarity
As a result
of a long struggle and effort of the Muslims, Allah Almighty bestowed a great
blessing on the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent on 14 August 1947 in the
form of Pakistan. For which the Muslims had made all kinds of sacrifices.
Tehreek-e-Pakistan's bloody story is not hidden from anyone. The people did not
hesitate to make any sacrifice when the slogan of "Pakistan will remain,
Pakistan will remain" was raised for the attainment of an independent
homeland. Our great ancestors did not give up. It was as a result of their
determination and perseverance that an independent Muslim democratic state was
finally established under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Today, we
need to do our best for the survival and development of the ideology of
Pakistan while protecting it in the light of the instructions of Quaid-e-Azam.
May Allah Almighty keep this planet inhabited and happy on the Day of
Resurrection. Amen instead of the Messengers, peace be upon them.
"Live Long Pakistan"
